This Swim for Life Instructor recertification is a 5-hour course that re-certifies participants in Swim for Life Instructor. Successful participants will receive re-certification in the course. Program includes classroom and water activities - 100 % attendance and participation are required. Certification of this award is current for 2 years. Completion Criteria:• Attend and participate in 100 % of the course.• Successfully demonstrate competency in required skills, activities and final evaluation.Pre-Course Requirements: • Swim for Life Instructor (Candidates must show proof of certifications to their instructor at the beginning of the class)Swim for Life Instructor Recertification awards are mailed to successful candidates by the Lifesaving Society.The program includes classroom and water activities 100 % attendance and participation are required.
