YS: Co-Ed Soccer 5-6 @ 5090 Broadway

Description

This recreational team/league is designed to introduce the fundamentals of the game, including: shooting, passing, trapping, and offensive/defensive strategy. Skill development will be stressed throughout the season and participants will have a basic understanding of rules, sportsmanship and teamwork. This season will consist of 2 practices the first 2 weeks, then 1 practice and 1 instructional game per week (6 total games). Scores and standings will not be kept. Games will be played on Saturday, typically between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Game times and locations vary. Double-headers and byes may be scheduled based on league size, weather cancellations, etc. Game schedules will be available during the season at www.denveryouthsports.org.Holiday Conflicts: Labor Day, Indigenous Peoples' Day, and Halloween typically occur during the Fall season. Practices scheduled for these holidays can be rescheduled at the recreation center and coach's discretion. Games scheduled for Indigenous Peoples' Day and Halloween will be moved to an adjacent day of the week (e.g. if the holiday is on a Thursday, those games will be played on Wednesday or Friday).
